Toshiba Excite 13 Tablet

Toshiba has announced a new 13 inch tablet called the Excite 13 which they are classifying as a home tablet. Meant for the kitchen and living room, it’s larger screen size while less portable is meant for viewing images, videos and recipes, activities which the larger screen will accommodate well. The tablet which will run Android 4.0 contains a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel rear facing camera, and four rear-mounted speakers. For ports, the tablet has a micro-USB port, a micro-HDMI port and a full-size SD card slot. Pricing starts at $649.99 for the 32GB model, and $749.99 for the 64GB model and is expected to hit stores in June.
