The big unveil from Microsoft today? It’s their entry into the tablet arena and it looks strong. It’s called Microsoft Surface and has a 10.6″ 16:9 HD screen. Jumping off from Apple’s iPad cover, Microsoft has produced what they call the Touch Cover which has an integrated keyboard and trackpad. Dual microphones and cameras make for easy video conferencing.

While still a concept the FFFFFF!!! desk/floor fan designed by Ivan Colominas & Marco Fossati is a really neat concept. I have to admit, at first glance I had hoped it was a speaker similar to Joey Roth’s Ceramic Speakers however a desk/floor fan is also pretty cool. The blade guard would have make a really cool speaker grill.
